What is marketing?
Marketing is a method to create conversion. Conversion is an interaction of mutual benefit (e.g. I subscribe to your newsletter to gain interesting knowledge, you gain an audience member). Marketing should ultimately lead to a means of profit, whether it’s direct through sales, or indirect through ads, affiliates and sponsors. Marketing is one component of a business plan that needs to be strategized.
